Introduction

This register is intended to provide a means by which Australian postgraduate students of United States culture and society can make known the topics of their research. As such it will provide a way for students and others to identify individuals working in related areas with whom they can exchange ideas, put together conference panels, and collaborate in a myriad of other ways.

A student's entry in the register contains their name, topic, supervisor and institution. The entries are grouped alphabetically by discipline.

As a beginning, Brent Ericson generously volunteered to compile entries based on public information provided by Department websites. Much of this information is likely out of date or otherwise in error; we welcome corrections. [Currently, this information has been entered only for names from A~F]

Anyone wishing to be included in the Register, or to make corrections to it, should contact Ian Brailsford.

Every two years, the Association also awards the Paul Bourke Postgraduate Travel Fellowship to a student enrolled fulltime in an Australian or New Zealand posgraduate research program.
