The association holds a biennial scholarly conference in
even numbered years, usually in the AVCC common week break
in April or July. Organized around a theme, the program
includes keynote speakers from the United States.
Postgraduate students are encouraged to participate, and a
workshop for them is held on the day before the conference
proper, led by senior scholars.
