This is a good general site with material on various aspects of the origins and development of Cold War to 1947 as well as useful links to other sites.

of the Cold War in the Harry S Truman Presidential Museum
Has a range of documentary material dealing with the Cold War from Truman’s perspective. These are well organised and easy to use.

A good site covering a survey of US history with useful documents and lessons dealing with many aspects of the Cold War and good links provided to other sites.
